Maintenance ended

All servers have been moved to New York and are running there. Every affected server has a ticket with its new IP address. The seven Miami hosts are retired.

We are retiring seven hosts in Miami and moving every server on them to our New York location.

What happens: each server is shut down, copied to its new host and started again there. Most servers are offline for 5 to 20 minutes, and a large disk can take about 30 minutes. Data and settings are carried over unchanged.

What changes: every moved server gets a new IPv4 address, and a new IPv6 address if it had one. Its location is then New York instead of Miami. As soon as a server is back online we open a ticket for it with its new address, so there is nothing you need to do until that ticket arrives. Please connect using the new address afterwards.

Linux servers: your SSH client will warn once that the host key changed, and if you had changed the root password it is back to the one from the original setup.
